White tea: this tea is the closest thing to the natural leaf, being plucked and dried either via sunlight or being quickly pan fired. White teas are the lowest in caffeine, highest in antioxidants and have a light delicate taste.

Infusing: White tea should be drunk without milk and infused in water 70 - 75 C. Use one heaped teaspoon per cup. Try infusing in cold water for 20 -30 mins for some refreshingly different iced tea!

This beautiful tea with a great proportion of downy white tips comes from the great eastern tea growing province of Fujian and is only picked once per year in spring. It is a sweet and delicate delicious tea only very gently steamed making it something of a white / green hybrid. White monkey has a light and mild tangy finish, subtle but with more bite that Silver Needles.

This fantastic white peony from Malawi has really impressed us. Huge sun bronzed leaves with dark silver tips result from the hot micro-climate where the plantation is situated. The infusion also is something of a white tea revolution with a familiar light white tea mouthfeel, but with notes of malty caramel and a smooth honeysuckle finish that lingers on the palate. Very delicious and easy to drink a pot quickly. Because of the high volume nature of this tea it is packed in our large white block bottom bags.
