Happy New Year - We wish all our customers a Happy New Year! After the festive season many of our customers are detoxing with some of our healthier teas such as Matcha green tea. We are pleased to report that we are sourcing a new special matcha so that we will soon have two on offer.

New tea house in Bristol - Our friends PapaJi's House of Teas have opened for business! You can visit them opposite the Clifton down shopping centre at 109 Whiteladies Road, BS8 2PB. Get down there for a taste of the full Tip Top Tea range!

New website - we have changed the look, feel and function of the website to provide a more streamlined user experience. No more hidden sub menus for the online shop - everything accessible from the main homepage.  For checkout instructions click on the buy tea online page at the top of the menu. Our loose tea is now categorised by type as this makes things easier. We have also placed brewing instructions at the page top for each  loose tea type.

New tea - we have several new loose leaf teas added to our lineup of late. First a new white tea - the classic bai hao yin zhen or Silver Needles. Fresh from the 2009 spring picking, it is truly delicious. We have a new favourite black tea blend, the smooth rich and very satisfying Tip Top Tea Blend. Our newest green tea is Gyokuro - the top quality Japanese green tea. If you like your sencha you will find this a cut above.

New accessories -  we have multiple additions to the accessories range, notably several new teapots. First the very functional and easy to use Kamjove Kong fu art teapot. Clean lines, tempered glass and user freindly features make this the easiest way to live a loose leaf tea life! We also bring you two cute Japanese cast iron Tetsubin teapots. Finally a hand blown glass teapot designed for use with our beautiful tea flowers.

New deals, bulk loose tea - you will see that many of our black and blended teas are now available in bulk loose tea bags of 300g at a reduced rate. These come in larger block bottomed bags closed with a tin tie. We are also happy to still offer 2 teas for £10 for many of our more exclusive teas. £25 FREE TEA!  - If you know of a local cafe or restaurant who could use a revamp in their tea department, we have added a web page for them. The wholesale page tells potential clients more about the benefits of loose leaf tea and the service we provide. If we gain a new wholesale client thanks to you, and they tell us you pointed the way, we'll send you a box of tea by way of thanks! We'll even let you pick what goes in it - up to a value of £25! So make sure they let us know and please spread the word!
